"VILPRA" CHIMNEYS AND LINERS AS A PART OF ADVANCED AND EFFECTIVE HEATING SYSTEM
Rapidly increasing price of the energy and continuously growing concern of ecological issues inevitably stimulates the modernization of heating equipment. But it is not just enough to replace an old heating boiler by a new, modern and effective one, it is essential to update or to construct a suitable chimney.
„Vilpra“ has performed all required testing for its chimneys and liners in compliance with European standards EN 1443:2003, EN 1856-1:2003 and EN 1856-2:2004 in Lithuanian and foreign laboratories. The temperature, pressure, leakage, condensate resistance, corrosion resistance classes were estimated in these laboratories. During the testing a distance to combustible materials, wind load, flexural tensile strength, compressive strength were measured. In accordance with the results of these tests, on 29th of April, 2005 governmental enterprise “Building Product Certification Center” issued “Vilpra” the Certificate of factory production control” (Conformity Certificate No. SPSC-5976A). This significant certification allows us to export single wall liners and double wall chimneys to any European Union country. Our production was also certified in Russia. In addition, the implementation of ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System has started in “Vilpra”.

“Vilpra” is offering to it’s clients stiff, flexible acid-resistant stainless steel single wall liners and double wall chimneys.
Single wall liners and double wall chimneys are made of:
- acid-resistant stainless steel - to convey the gas, liquid or solid fuel products of combustion;
- stainless steel, galvanized, colour-galvanised tin - an external pipe of double wall chimney;
- galvanised tin - for air channels.

In order to improve the quality of single wall liners and double wall chimneys and to enlarge the selection of products as well as to minimize the order fulfilment term, „Vilpra“ has purchased a modern automatic line for chimney production. Every year “Vilpra” is extending its output further, expanding sales geography: Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Belorussia.
On the basis of purchased advanced technology, the computer-aided program for chimney curve selection and cutting is used in chimney manufacturing. For metal sheet cutting and welding the following equipment is used: automatic plasma welding and cutting machine, automatic machine for pipe end expansion, line for longitudinal and cross cutting of rolled and sheet steel, also efficient and modern electric welding equipment for sheet steel that complies with European standards.
The most qualified professionals of „Vilpra“ were working on probation in Germany, Italy, Czech, and Poland. Using newest state-of-the-art technologies and the incredible experience of high-skilled specialists of the company resulted in high quality production, which conforms to the international standards.
In 1999 „Vilpra“ got the highest award of the Lithuanian Manufacturers’ Confederation: chimneys and flue liners manufactured by „Vilpra“, among 35 other industrial articles, were granted the Certificate for The Product of the Year 1999 of Lithuania.
